ST ANDREWS BEACH BREWERY
A MUST VISIT ON THE MORNINGTON PENINSULA
At St Andrews Beach Brewery, life is simple and uncomplicated. Located on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula, we draw inspiration from our heritage and surroundings so we can brew one of life’s pleasures: craft beer.
Our 38-hectare property was where Australia’s horse racing greats were trained – Makybe Diva, Mummify, and Miss Andretti have all called our stables home. Our stables are named after the champions who once resided here, and now house a new breed of champions in the form of craft beer.
A 1,200 metre race track is where you’ll find 8,000 apple and pear cider trees growing alongside and hops, not horses. Our pristine farmland allows us to operate as a fully functioning farm, and brew some seriously good craft beer.
JETTY ROAD BREWERY
AMAZING BREW HALL WITH A SEASONAL MENU
Shaped by a life alongside the sea, our roots on the mornington peninsula keep us grounded in a sense of community and passionate about local produce and vitality.
Our story began years ago - on a quiet coastal road not far from where we are now - with nothing but a desire to create quality beer, a taste for adventure and a healthy appreciation of the good life.
we’re not really ones for rules but we do have a few guiding principles that were born out of respect for our craft and our community:
For one, our aim is to create an educational environment that takes people inside the craft beer experience and makes the enjoyment of a fine ale accessible to all.
Then of course there is our love for local harvest, fresh produce and bringing the community together in celebration of the good life.
Lastly, we’re very serious about not taking ourselves too seriously - enjoy yourself and drink great tasting high-quality beer. simple.

REFRESHINGLY GLUTEN FREE BEER
Whether you miss heading to the craft beer taproom with friends, or cracking a tinnie with family, we're brewing great gluten free beer that's safe for all to enjoy – without compromise.
In order to journey through a new world of all grain craft beer that everyone can explore, we built a dedicated gluten free brewery. And it's not just about accessing quality beer, it's about the whole craft experience; from the flavour to the look, feel and smell – and not forgetting to share it in great company.
Proudly situated in Dromana on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, we are Australia's first dedicated gluten free Brewery and Taproom.
TAR BARREL
72 WATT RD, MORNINGTON
Tar Barrel is a well-known corner in Red Hill and named by road builders storing tar barrels during road building on the Mornington Peninsula.
TAR BARREL Brewery & Distillery has seen Matt Bebe and Andrew Gow reunite to continue producing award winning craft beers at 72 Watt Road Mornington, the original home of Mornington Peninsula Brewery. And now with the introduction of a whiskey and gin distillery it has widened their ability to offer more crafted taste experiences. The new Tar Bar will also maintain their belief in the philosophy of being ‘local’ and using ‘local’, having both core and specialty beers on tap to enjoy alongside the famous wood-fired pizzas. Local wines and spirits ensure all are catered for. A destination not to be missed
HART'S FARM - CIDER
300 TUCKS RD, SHOREHAM
Our apple and pear orchard of heritage Cider and Perry varietals was planted in 2010 and had its first crop in 2014. A second major planting was in 2016-17 and took our tree count to 325.
Hart’s Farm Bottle Fermented Apple Cider is produced from both heritage apples from our farm and selected modern varieties from friends’ orchards on the Peninsula. Since 2020, our apples are pressed using our Maurer Gep continuous processing line.
Primary fermentation is commenced immediately after pressing. Ambient Temperatures are generally low teens and primary fermentation proceeds slowly over the next 4 weeks or so. As our Cider matures, the first ferments are racked and stored in air tight stainless steel tanks prior to blending when all the fruit has been harvested and processed. Some cider styles have more prolonged maturation with French Oak.
Final racking and blending precedes bottling with additional apple juice and yeast to establish secondary fermentation for natural carbonation. A natural sediment will form from the secondary yeast.
Specialty ciders undergo further blending to create our range of Spiced, Cidre Noir, Cidre de Glace and Apple Pear and Quince ciders.
